Accessibility & mobility
No page opened here describes the gangway, steps, or a wheelchair route at Havensight or Crown Bay. Ask the ship what getting off is like that day. An anchorage call, marked IANCH or OANCH, or a St. John call marked STJ, is not the same as walking off a pier. The Port Authority says visitors at a Cruz Bay anchorage are tendered to the dock. It says taxi service is available at Crown Bay. It does not say those taxis are accessible. The tourism site says seat belts are required. It does not describe accessible taxis or safari-style buses. Fort Christian, the 99 Steps, and Blackbeard's Castle are historic streets and a climb. The tourism site does not call them step-free. Magens Bay lists restrooms and a taxi stand. It does not describe a level path from either cruise dock.
