## Getting ashore

Belfast has three berth locations. The Belfast Cruise Terminal, opened in 2019, is used for all cruise calls. Check your ship's notice for the berth.

## Watch-outs

Belfast's weather is changeable. Taxis are the easiest way to reach the city and the Titanic sites. Carry a little extra time for the return.

## Titanic Quarter

The Titanic Belfast museum, built on the site of the shipyard, tells the story of the liner. The SS Nomadic and the Hamilton Dock are close by.

## City centre

The city has the Victorian City Hall, the St George's Market and the Cathedral Quarter with its galleries and music venues.

## Giant's Causeway

The [Giant's Causeway](https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Northern_Ireland) is a UNESCO site of basalt columns on the north coast, about 90 minutes by road. Tours go there in season.

## Food & shopping

Northern Irish food includes Ulster fry, soda bread and seafood. The St George's Market and the Cathedral Quarter restaurants are the easiest choice.

The currency is the pound sterling. Cards are accepted almost everywhere. ATMs are common in the centre.

The terminal is flat and step-accessible. Titanic Belfast has lifts. The Cathedral Quarter has cobbles. Ask your operator for accessible transport.
