## Getting ashore

Havøysund is a small fishing village on the Finnmark coast. Ships use the harbour quay, and the village is a short walk away.

Havøysund is a working harbour with a small church and a few shops. The quay is the centre of village life.

## North Cape

The [North Cape](https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Honningsv%C3%A5g) is the northernmost point of mainland Europe, about an hour's drive away. Road tours visit the cliff and the visitor centre, and the midnight sun is visible in summer.
