## Getting ashore

Flørø is a small town on the coast of Sogn og Fjordane. Ships use the harbour quay, and the town centre is within walking distance.

## Watch-outs

The weather on the west coast can change quickly, and rain is common. Services are limited on Sundays. Bring waterproof clothing.

## The town

Flørø is a fishing and service town with a harbour, a museum and a few shops and cafés.

## Kinn and the mountains

The island of Kinn and the mountains above the town give walks and views. Boat trips visit the islands and the fjord.

## Nordfjord and Måløy

The Nordfjord is one of Norway's longest fjords, and Måløy, the fishing town at its mouth, is a short trip by road or boat.

## Food & shopping

Seafood, including cod and mussels, is the main local food. Harbour cafés are the easiest choice.

## Money & connectivity

The currency is the Norwegian krone. Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Mobile signal is good in town.

## Accessibility & mobility

The quay and town are mostly flat. Boat trips and mountain walks involve steps and rough ground. Ask your operator for accessible vehicles.
