## Getting ashore

Puerto Quetzal has a new cruise terminal on a floating pontoon where ships dock. The area near the terminal has a jade museum and shop, cafés, craft stalls and live music.

## Watch-outs

The port is on the Pacific coast, far from the main sights. Most passengers take a tour, and the journey inland can be long. Carry water, sun cover and cash in quetzales.

## Antigua Guatemala
