Carnival lists a supervised children's area. The fact sheet names it Pelican's Perch, with a replica galleon and a sand playground. Chairs are set out. A clamshell or a bungalow is how you reserve shade, and both cost extra. The lookout tower is the short stop if you want to see the ship and the shore. This loop stays on the resort."],["Going further","Do not add a second place. No nature trail is named, and none has a length or a map. Walkways join the beach, the barbecue, the shops and the tower. They are not a path to a village. The lagoon is a paid kayak, not a walk. Princess lists a clear-bottom lagoon kayak from about $45. That page puts the time at about an hour and a quarter. You must be able to swim. The minimum age on that page is 6. Carnival lists a similar kayak from about $55. Use the price on your own ship."],["Food & shopping","The booking page says the beach barbecue is complimentary. The fact sheet says two pavilions serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, salad, fruit and cookies. It does not print the hours. Eat there. Do not count on a town caf\u00e9. Tropical Treasures sells souvenirs the fact sheet says can be charged to your shipboard account. Local vendors sell handicrafts. A private bungalow on the current Princess list is from about $255, for up to four people, for about six hours. The fact sheet still prints about $199. Those are not the same price.
