You come only if your ship calls. You step ashore from the ship for the hours it is here. There is no town pier and no public ferry you can join. Read the ship's note for how you land and for the last time back. The beach is the reason for the stop. ## Watch-outs There is no town on the other side of the landing. Do not set off looking for streets, a bus, or a café in a square. The day is the beach and whatever MSC has opened for this call. The sun is strong and shade may be a walk away. Take a hat and water from the ship. If you leave the landing, give yourself time to walk back. There is no later boat. ## On the island Stay on the paths and the beach the staff are using. No walking times are published, so do not assume the far beach is a short stroll. If the sand is heavy going, keep to the firm path nearest the landing. There is no old town and no fort. A swim and a chair are the visit. Ask where the swim area is marked before you go in. ## Taxis & ride apps No taxi rank is listed, and no ride app serves this island. Do not wait for a cab. A car has nowhere to take you that is still part of this call. Walk, or use a shuttle if MSC is running one and the staff point it out. Do not pay someone who offers a boat to another cay. You would have no sure way back to the ship. ## What to do nearby The beach is the day. No separate beach ticket is named in the port notes. Bring the towel from your cabin. Sit, swim, and use the shade you can find. If MSC is selling a cabana or a snorkel trip, the price will be on their sheet for your sailing. Nothing is printed here. Treat a figure on a board as about that amount, and book it through the ship if that is how the line sells it. ## Going further There is no second stop. Bimini and Nassau are not a boat ride you arrange on the sand. Stay on Ocean Cay until the ship calls you back. If you want more than the beach, use only an activity on the MSC list, with a return that beats all-aboard. If it is not on that list, it is not a plan for this call. ## Food & shopping Eat where MSC is serving on the island, or eat on the ship before you get off if you do not want to hunt for a counter in the heat. No menu and no price are printed in the port notes. Ask what is included before you order. The money is the Bahamian dollar, at par with the US dollar. A small amount of cash is useful if a stand does not take the ship card. ## Opening times & connectivity The island follows the ship. It is not open as a park you return to later. No Wi-Fi is listed.
