ashore","You come ashore by tender. This is Norwegian Cruise Line's private island, used for cruise calls since 1977, and you are here only if your ship calls. The marina is about 12 feet deep at low water and is home to the island's four tenders. There is no dock for the ship itself. Your ship's note names the last tender back."],["Watch-outs","There is no town and no tram. Once you leave the tender, the beach and a boardwalk are the visit. The boardwalk along the shore is about half a mile and it is in the sun. Take a hat and water. Soft sand is tiring underfoot. Do not look for a taxi into another settlement. Use it if you would rather not walk the sand. Palms give some shade, but not a covered path. Snorkelling is among the things the island lists. Stay inside the marked swim area. The way around is on foot, on the beach or on the boardwalk. Wave runners, kayaks and a boat tour are rentals, not transport into a town. There is no ferry to Nassau and no village to walk into. The boat tour is a loop around this cay, not a ride to another port. Parasailing and the zip line also stay here.
