## Getting ashore

Falmouth Harbour is a large protected bay. Ships berth or anchor on the harbour, and taxis wait at the quay.

The harbour has two sides, the village on the north and the visitor area on the east. Taxi fares are set by the government, so confirm the rate before you travel.

## Falmouth and the harbour

The village has restaurants, shops and a pleasant waterfront. The harbour is a popular stop for yachts, and the marina is a short walk.
